- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, NSWCCD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with MAN Diesel N.A Inc., 1600-A Brittmoore Road, Houston, TX 77043 for the furnishing of up to 54 Viking 35 Control Panels and engineering, technical and training services in support of PC Class ship Main Propulsion Diesel Engine (MPDE) control system upgrade. A five-year ordering period is anticipated. Delivery of the first shipset is expected within 180 days after date of contract award. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). "This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command."
