- Description
- The Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC) has a requirement to provide Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) engineering support and training to the Department of Navy (DoN) Utilities and Energy Management (UEM) CIRCUITS Program. The IV&V engineering support includes independent oversight of CIRCUITS releases configured by other contractors to ensure they meet the various user requirements, software and hardware architectural plans, and the project plan. Training requires CIRCUITS and Navy process experts to train users in improved processes and practices using CIRCUITS. The base year period of performance will be from the time of award through 9/30/08, with two one-year options. This acquisition is reserved as a 100% set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 541330, and the size standard is $4.5 million. The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at NECO, www.neco.navy.mil, or FedBizOpps, www.fedbizopps.gov., on or about June 9, 2008.
