Description

THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEM FOR STANLEY SPRAY CONTRACT ON THE SAWTOOTH NATIONAL FOREST. SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL BE POSTED SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH THE SNYOPSIS. The Forest Service is in need of acquiring services for the application of insecticide to provide protection for designated lodgepole pine trees from infestation by the Mountain Pine Beetle (dendroctonus ponderosae). The contract will require the application of the insecticide Carbaryl in the recreational areas listed in the solicitation. NAICS Code: 115112. Size Standard: $6.5 million. Estimated start date: 9/08/08 with completion by 11/07/08. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
