- The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 for Camera recording systems for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Expeditionary Support Unit (ESU) TWO - EODESU TWO. The requested supplies and incidental services shall be provided in accordance with the statement of work included in the RFQ. The requirement includes the camera system, installation, system training for EODTEU TWO staff, maintenance and equipment warranty coverage. Camera systems will be installed in the following EODTEU TWO training sites: Bunker 401, Bunker 809, Bunker 900, Bunker 101, and WMD tunnel/Railhouse. Location of the work is Fort Story, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Supplies and incidental services must be provided within one year from date of award. The specific schedule shall be agreed upon with EODESU TWO. This procurement will be issued as a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334310 with a Size Standard of 750 employees. The anticipated start date of the requirement is upon contract award, which is anticipated in July 2008. The solicitation shall be issued on or around 09 June 2008. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a proposal the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
