Description
This is a competitive 100 percent Small Business (SB) Set-aside. The Program Manager for Training Systems (PMTRASYS) has a requirement to solicit for Contractor Operation and Maintenance Services (COMS) with full supply support for Training Ranges/Devices at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC; Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, NC and Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210 - Facilities Support Services. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, test equipment and transportation necessary to maintain the training ranges, systems, and devices in a fully operational condition. The anticipated COMS contract will be a firm-fixed-price (FFP) service contract. Initial award will be for a period beginning Dec 2008. This effort is a follow-on to COMS contract M67854-03-C-8005. A Pre-Proposal Conference followed by a Site Visit is scheduled at MCB Camp Lejeune (21 July 2008). A site visit is scheduled for MCB Quantico (25 July 2008) Parties interested in attending the Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visits must register with the Contracting Officer prior to 4 July 2008. Section L of the Draft RFP will contain Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit details. The RFP (M67854-08-R-8104) and any subsequent amendments/information will be provided via electronic means using the NECO website, www.neco.navy.mil. It is anticipated that a draft RFP will be posted by 30 June 2008 and the Final RFP around 4 Aug 2008. This is not a request for proposals or a guarantee of forthcoming solicitation. It should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. government to issue a solicitation. Any information provided to the Government in response to this posting will become USMC property and will not be returned. All proprietary or classified information will be treated appropriately. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
