Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is attempting to find competition for maintenance service for all freezers in buildings 1 and 17 on CDC's Roybal campus, 1600 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30329, used within the MPIR laboratory in support of a 5-year clinical trial study on the safety and efficacy of anthrax vaccine. The present warranty on all freezers covers two (2) preventive maintenance check-ups yearly, which is a mandatory requirement for critical equipment per the Code of Federal Regulations 21CFR Part 58, and also provides for the replacement of part(s) which fail in normal operation. Maintenance and repair service is presently provided during normal business hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Comparable or better maintenance service is desired. The serial numbers and brands of the freezers are provided in an attachment to this notice. All freezers must be covered by this maintenance coverage-please note that line item #43 of the attachment, the Kenmore freezer with the serial number 703118, is being excessed, so it will no longer be covered by maintenance. Please note that all maintenance service must be quarterly or monthly in arrears, so that any quotations submitted should be forwarded with preference of quarterly or monthly billing. Payment cannot be rendered "up front." No other solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement, and may submit a quotation for the service. This procurement is a repost and is no longer set-aside for small business. For contractual questions contact Linda M. Young.
