- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 02 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR DATAACQUISITION SYSTEMS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. Thisnotice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendmentwill not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to provide a technical question with the answer that hasbeen submitted for this solicitation.QUESTION: Under the National Instruments Data Acquisition Hardware you list PN779709-01 "Terminal Block" Qty: 32. I could not find this part number on the NI website. Could you please clarify this number for me? I imagine, based on the quantitiesof parts indicated, that this is the terminal block for the SCXI-1520 Strain Module. Thestandard terminal block for this module is PN 777687-14 SCXI 1314. Is this the intendedpart?ANSWER: The part listed in the specification is correct. It is a custom designed andbuilt part that is not yet listed on the NI website. 779514-01, is also the other custompart in this build. Prospective bidders for this contract should contact Steve Talbottat National Instruments for pricing and availability of these parts. The number is512-683-0100.The due date for receipt of offers is no extended.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) by May 30, 2008 to Judith Drabkin atJudith.R.Drabkin@nasa.gov; FAX: 256-544-3860.
