Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or multiple contracts nor does it obligate the Government to provide reimbursement for any preparation or documentation that the Government receives from this notice. The 65th Contracting Squadron, Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal is contemplating awarding a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) consisting of a one (1) year basic, with four (4) option periods. The contract's maximum value has not been determined; however, it is estimated the entire program value is to be between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000 for the life of the contract. It is the Government's intent to award four (4) to seven (7) contracts for this effort. The requirement shall be for contractors to perform the following types of construction requirements: Design-Build, Conceptual Design (35%), and 100% Government Designed Projects. The contractors shall be expected to respond to several Request for Proposals (RFP) in a short period of time and manage several construction projects at once. The scope of work shall require the contractor to provide all management, tools and equipment, supplies and material, supervision and labor, and transportation necessary to complete complex/non-complex and major/minor construction projects. If a MACC is awarded, the Government's intent is to compete all subsequent projects among the contractors that receive a contract from a solicitation for this requirement; however the Government reserves the right to negotiate with one contractor, if necessary. The 65th Contracting Squadron is requesting information from all prospective contractors to determine the interest in this type of requirement. No size restrictions. The NAICS code for the requirement shall be 236220 and the size standard of $31,000,000 should be used to for small business concerns. In your response, please include the following: 1. Name of Company 2. Point of Contact (Name, Phone Number and Email address) 3. Type of Company (i.e. Small, Large, 8A) 4. Experience (Please submit no more than five (5) completed contracts indicative of a multi-discipline construction project, include point of contact, contract number, and short description of work completed) Contracts submitted shall be completed within the last 5 years. All responses shall be limited to 5 pages.
