- This is a Presolicitation notice. Solicitations are not yet available. The estimated release date is June 13, 2008. The solicitation will be issued on a full and open competitive basis, and will be available only on www.fbo.gov The Department of Veterans Affairs, San Francisco VA Medical Center (SFVAMC) requires community based residential treatment for authorized VA beneficiaries who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless; have a serious mental illness or a serious mental illness with co-occurring substance use disorder; and are eligible and registered for VA services. Individual treatment is estimated to be for periods not to exceed 180 days. The estimated total beneficiary days per year is 2,555. Facilities submitting offers in response to the solicitation must be physically located within the city limits of San Francisco CA The VA intends to award a fixed-price contract with one base year and four one-year options.
