- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the Format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number N0969708RC016X2 is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. NAICS 334210. The Naval Base Guantanamo Bay Cuba requires the following TEMS TESTING SYSTEM and TRAINING to identify and improve signal coverage for the Proprietary Cellular Network at the Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. System to include the following items: (1) TEMS Investigation 8.2 Base Package GSM, P/N FAB 8016576, Fixed License, Qty 1 Each; (2) P/N FAB801 6757 Sony Ericsson K790a, Qty 4 Each; (3) P/N FAB 8016893 TEMS Pocket Software for K790, Qty 4 Each; (4) P/N FAB 8016819 Multiple Phone Connect License Options, Qty 1 Each; (5) P/N KRY 9010537 Port USB Hub, Qty 1 Each; (6) P/N FAB 8015770 OEM USB GPS-Kit, Qty 1 Each; (7) P/N FAB 801 5887 Training TEMS Investigation Data collection, 1 Day (includes expenses) Qty 1 Day; (8) P/N FAB 8015888 Training TEMS Investigation Route Analysis, 1 day (includes expenses) Qty 1 Day; (9) P/N FAB 8014383 Silver Support, TEMS Investigation, Qty 1 Each; (10) P/N 8017046 Ext HW Warranty, TEMS Investigation, Qty 1 Each. Training to be given to the Government Requestor site at the Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Items will ship to Blount Island Marine Terminal, Jacksonville, Florida 32226. The Government reserves the right to award on an All or None Basis. It is the Governments intent to award on a Sole Source Basis to Ericsson Federal Inc.
