- Project Description: Construct a fuel system maintenance hangar, which will provide four adequately sized bays to accommodate T-1A Jayhawk aircraft assigned to Vance AFB, with administration area, supporting storage area and restrooms. This facility will also support the T-38 and T-6A aircraft assigned to Vance AFB. The facility shall be of non-combustible construction with insulated metal exterior wall and roof systems on a reinforced concrete floor slab and foundation. Relocate all exterior utilities that are incident to the new construction. This project will provide all required materials, equipment, and necessary support for the construction of a state-of-art aircraft fuel system maintenance hangar. Renovation of the existing fuel system hangar to wash rack and demolition of supply facility 260 is included within this project. This work will include relocating existing wash rack equipment from a current location to the existing fuel maintenance hanger.
