Description

The contractor will set up and conduct a kickoff meeting to review and discuss the overall project plan, schedule, and deliverables with the Government stakeholders. The Contractor shall fabricate necessary repair material, test and evaluate modules, perform 90 days Confidence tests on "A" condition IFS units, generate Trouble Failure Reports (TFRs) TRIDENT II Fice Control System as required, maintain IFS inventory, maintain test equipment in need of calibration, perform re-certification of the Frequency Standard Test Set (FSTS) and Fit Fixture, cycle battery power to prolong the life of the units and coordinate and document test equipment in support of the Navigation Program Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
