CANCELLATION NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W900NB8113JR67 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-24. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 722310 with a small business size standard of $19M. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2008-06-05 12:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Fort Monroe, VA 23651 The USA ACA Fort Eustis requires the following items, Exact Match Only, to the following: LI 001, Cadet Meals, Meals for 150 Cadets attending Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge. Breakfast 9-13 June 2008, Lunch 9-13 June 2008, Dinner 9-12 June 2008. 14 Meals X 150 Cadets = 2100 Total Meals. Please see PWS and ALL attachments for further details., 2100, EA; LI 002, Cadre Meals, Meals for 28 Cadre attending Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge. Breakfast 9-13 June 2008, Lunch 9-13 June 2008, Dinner 9-12 June 2008. 14 Meals X 28 Cadre = 392 Total Meals. Please see PWS and ALL attachments for further details., 392, EA; LI 003, Bags of Ice, 60 for each day of Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge. 60 Bags of Ice X 5 Days = 300 Total Bags of Ice. Please see PWS and ALL attachments for further details., 300, EA; LI 004, Transportation, Bus Transportation (or like transportation) for 150 Cadets and 28 Cadre between camp location and Booker High School (3201 North Orange Avenue, Sarasota, Florida 34234) and Lido Beach (John Ringling BLVD, Lido Key, FL). Transportation should be available between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM from 9-13 June 2008. The transportation should remain on station with the cadets to allow for shelter from inclement weather. Please see PWS and ALL attachments for further details., 5, DAYS; LI 005, Location for Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge. Preferrably a camp, but can be a building or series of buildings. Must provide dining facilities for 178 cadets and cadre, 10 classrooms, air-conditioned lodging (attendees will provide their own bedding), 2 gymnasiums, 15 kayaks and 3 8-person rubber boats for water training, and an auditorium that can accomodate 178 cadets and cadre. Please see PWS and ALL attachments for further details., 1, EA; For this solicitation, USA ACA Fort Eustis intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. USA ACA Fort Eustis is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
