- This is a synopsis for various spares and repair kits for Tactical Fiber Optic Cable Assembly prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.207. The proposed acquisition is to be a one year with one option year Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source Contract under solicitation No. W15P7T-08-R-N207. This effort is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to Amphenol Fiber Systems International, 1300 Central Expwy N Suite 100, Allen, Texas 75013 under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1) as implement by FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) based on the determination that the Government needs can be satisfied by only one source. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. The right to use the data needed to purchase these parts from additional sources is not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed or otherwise obtained by the Government. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this Agency. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this effort is 314419 with the corresponding Small Business size standard of 500 employees. The United States Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703 intends to award a firm-fixed-price type contract for a quantity of (4) Tool Kit Fiber, NSN: 5180-01-556-3296, (5) Repair Kit Fiber, NSN: 6080-01-555-9881, (5) Cable Assembly Fiber, NSN: 6020-01-555-3511, (5) Cable Assembly Fiber, NSN: 6020-01-555-3656, (5) Repair Kit Fiber, NSN: 6080-01-556-0426, (4) Cable Assembly Fiber, NSN: 6020-01-556-0447, (2) Test Optical Kit, NSN: 6650-01-555-3527, (2) Reflector Optical, NSN: 6625-01-555-9156, (4) Cable Assembly Fiber, NSN: 6020-01-556-0440, (2) Splice Enclosure, NSN: 6080-01-555-8644, (4) Cable Assembly Fiber, NSN: 6020-01-556-4405, and (2) Installation Kit, NSN: 6080-01-556-3388. This will be a one year base contract with one option year. The Offeror shall provide the terms of their commercial warranty within their proposal. The delivery schedule shall be 90 days after contract. Accelerated delivery at no additional cost to the Government is accepted and encouraged. Packaging requirements shall be in accordance with Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging. Inspection and Acceptance will be at SOURCE. Shipments are to be FOB Destination, to DoDAAC: W25G1U, New Cumberland Army Depot, 2001 Normandy Dr., New Cumberland, PA 17070-5000. The Offeror must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) by calling (800) 334-3414 or at http://www.ccr.gov.
