- The work consists of reconditioning approximately 3.9 miles of Forest Road in support of the Box Creek Hazardous Fuels Project. Work includes clearing, grubbing, and treatment of construction slash, developing pit run aggregate from a designated material source, and loading, hauling, and placing of pit run aggregate on prepared road subgrades The project is located on the Fishlake National Forest. Access from Richfield Utah travel East on State Road 119 approximately 11 miles to State Road 24, travel South on State Road 24 approximately 16 miles to State Road 62 (Koosharem Jct), travel State Road 62 approximately 11 miles to Forest Road 40069 (Box Creek Road near Greenwich), travel Forest Road 40069 approximately 6.7 miles to Project Road 068. The Red Rock Material Source is located approximately 1.3 miles North on Road 068 from the 069 and 068 Road Jct. Once at the Junction of Forest Road 40069 and Project Road 068 the remainder of the project roads can be found on the project map in the Contract Plans. This project will be between $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. This project will be an Emerging Small Business set-aside. There will be a site visit scheduled for June 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. meeting at the Richfield office, Fishlake National Forest, and proceeding to the project site from there. This project will be uploaded approximately on 6/17/2008.
