Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Office of Regions and Center Operations (ARC) is seeking qualified contractors, experienced in ISO certification for Federal agencies, that are capable of providing ISO 9001 Pre-Certification, Certification, and Post-Certification Surveillance services in order to achieve ISO certification in the Logistics Divisions at FAA Headquarters and nine (9) Regional Offices across the country. The FAA contemplates award of a Firm, Fixed Price contract for a base period with three (3) option periods. The Pre-Certification portion must be completed by September 20, 2008 and Certification portions of the contract must be completed not later than March 30, 2009. This procurement is unrestricted as to business size. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. When responding to this SIR, each interested company is required to submit past performance information that confirms their ability to successfully complete an integrated ISO certification process for a Federal or State Government entity at multiple operating locations, as well as the Business Declaration form that is attached to this notice. Past Performance information must include project title, agency name, order/contract number, project value and duration, point of contact (including email address and phone number), and a brief description of the work performed. Past Performance and Business Declaration forms are due no later than June 10, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. local time (Central Time Zone), and may be submitted by fax or email as follows: Fax: (817) 222-4349, Attn: Jeff Adkins. This SIR/RFI is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
