- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The Request for Quotation number is HSCG89-08-Q-612005 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. This acquisition will be unrestricted. The NAICS is 488190. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The Government proposes to solicit quotes for the following: Statement of Work Helicopter Service for NDS Radio Replacements 1.Background The Coast Guard NDS recap team needs to replace multiple radio sets at remote NDS sites in the Kodiak AOR. The currently installed radios have a known problem associated with temperature. The replacement radios will allow radios to operate during adverse weather conditions 24/7. 2. WORK ORDER MANAGEMENT DESIGNATION: a.The Contracting Officer’s Technical Advisor for this order is CWO3 Casey Jones, MLCPAC (te-3), 510-637-5458 or Casey.c.jones@.uscg.mil. b.The Technical Advisor (TA) for this task order is CWO3 Casey Jones, MLCPAC (te-3), (510) 637-5458 or Casey.c.jones@.uscg.mil 3. Scope of Work 1.1.The following tasks are required for installation and repair of remote D17 NDS sites 1.1.1.Contractor shall provide transportation (approximately 8 trips) between various NDS sites in the Kodiak AOR. Transportation of up to 4 Coast Guard technicians and tools (500 lbs) required. Travel dates are to be scheduled between Jun 08 through Sep 2008 weather and NDS downtime availability dependent. 2.Government Furnished Property 2.1.None. 3.Deliverables 3.1.Contractor shall provide transportation between various NDS sites in the Kodiak AOR for 4 Coast Guard technicians and tools (500 lbs) required as required.. THE SERVICE CONTRACT ACT OF 1965 IS APPLICABLE TO THIS SOLICIATION. AWARD: This purchase will be based on the following criteria: Lowest price meeting or exceeding the minimum requirements.
