- The U. S. Department of Labor is seeking qualified Architecture and Engineering firms for the Atlanta Job Corps Center. We are looking for firms that qualify under the Small Business Programs mentioned in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 19. When submitting your response, please indicate under which programs you meet the criteria. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are small business with the capabilities and experience. The project involves Architect/Engineer services for the design and construction administration of a new Job Corps Center in Atlanta, Georgia to replace the existing center. The project comprises eight new buildings, including dormitories; education and vocational; administration; food service; recreation; medical/dental; child development center; and storage/maintenance. The buildings shall consist of approximately 220,255 gross square feet. The work also includes all site improvements necessary to provide a functional campus, including roads, utilities, landscaping and security lighting as well as demolition of the existing residential structures. The A/E will provide designs based on the space program issued with the scope of work. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAISC) is 541330, and the Small Business Standard is $4.5 million. All interested parties are invited to submit a capabilities statement to Ms. Eileen Garnett, Contract Specialist, U.S. Department of Labor, OASAM, BOC, OPS, Division of Job Corps A&E Construction, 200 Constitution, 200 Constitution Ave., NW, RM N4308, Washington, DC 20210.
