- Title: USACIL Landscaping; Solicitation # 20612, Request For Quote NAICS Code: 561730 Landscaping Services / Size Standard: $6.5 million Product/Service Code: S208 Landscaping/Groundskeeping Services PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared under FAR Part 13, and prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and this announcement constitutes the solicitation request. This requirement is being issued by Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) Herndon under the Department of the Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of US Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory (USACIL). THIS SOLICITATION IS SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. AQD will handle the solicitation, and resultant contract administration as well as payment of invoices. AQD is a Federal Franchise Fund Contracting Office under the authority of the Government Management Reform Act and provides contracting support to all Federal and Department of Defense Agencies. The successful Offeror shall be required to complete electronic banking information for electronic payments, and all vendors must be registered in CCR, effective October 01, 2003 to receive government contracts ? www.ccr.gov. All responsible and responsive offers to this solicitation will be considered by the Agency. 1 PurposeThe purpose of this contract is to obtain landscaping/grounds maintenance services to achieve and maintain a clean, neat and professional standard at the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory (USACIL) year round. 2 ScopeThe Contractor shall provide all supervision, administrative and technical support, labor, tools, transportation, materials, supplies and equipment, and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective completion of all services described herein. 2.1 GroundsThe grounds at the USACIL consist of approximately two (2) acres of Bermuda grass and shall be properly maintained free of weeds with the proper seasonal fertilization applications. Services shall be conducive to seasonal requirements. The Contractor shall determine how often the work is to be performed, how much labor is needed to perform the tasks, what methods will be used to complete the job and which supplies, materials and equipment are needed. 2.2 Basic ServicesBasic services include: grass cutting, trimming, edging, tree and shrub pruning, mulching, fertilization, grassing, turf and bed weed control, insect and disease control, leaf and debris removal, perennial cutback, aeration, and winter visits.
