Description

Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and FAR FAC 2001-24. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation Number is FA4819-08-T-0030. NAICS code 337211 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is 500 employees. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Request for Quote Furniture Items requested are Trusted Systems products OR EQUAL. The item descriptions are as follows: Furniture: Deliver and install two integrated, secured communications centers camouflaged as a hutch, bookcase cabinet and buffet. Communications center should be constructed using hardwood of medium cherry stain to match living quarters dιcor. Shall be designed with unrestricted air flow, safe and PDS inspections, acoustical silencing, and hidden access points. Further requirements include superb functionality for SIPRNet users with a laptop. Needs to include an embedded folding laptop tray. Needs to have a secured KVM Switch to select between the various networks. Require a pedestal PC tray for convenient access and storage of NIPRNet workstations or DRSN phone sets. Dimensions required for the communications center are as follows: W=67” D=31.5” H=82.75” * Must be able to hide and securely house security container. Security container dimensions are 28”H x 22”W (25” at louvers) x 39” D Request that your company provide a quote to provide the Installation and delivery. Deliver and install two base cabinets with adjustable shelves, two credenzas, two open shelf units and all hardware. Furniture shall be constructed of hardwood with medium cherry stain.
