- Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey has a French Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement for Cylinder Covers, in accordance with drawings 11-61369-4, 11-61649, 11-61370-4L & 4R, 11-61639-6L & 6R. This procurement contains Technical Data subject to Export Control Laws, see note 8. The Government intends to award a contract to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. The evaluation factors will be explained in detail in the solicitation. This item has been designated as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). All contractors seeking award must be CSI approved. This requirement will be procured as a Firm Fixed Price contract utilizing Small Business Set-Aside competition procedures. All contractors seeking award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. For CCR information, contact the CCR Registration Assistance Center (RAC) at 888-227-2423 or for CCR Registration at http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil. Drawing packages will be available when the solicitation is released. Upon release of the solicitation, please contact Christine Somerset at christine.somerset@navy.mil to request a copy of the Drawings and Specifications. Please include with your request a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement. The solicitation will appear on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/. Select “Business,” then “Doing Business With Us,” and finally “Open Solicitations.” The solicitation will be issued/ posted to the NAVAIR Web Site on or about the beginning of July 2008.
