Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Malcolm Pirnie, of Baltimore, MD, an increase not to exceed $550,000 for the ceiling for contract W912DR-05-D-0004. The increase is necessary to award necessary modifications to existing task orders at the following locations: Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, New York Provide groundwater sampling, project management, and technical support to Watervliet Arsenal. Baltimore, Maryland Evaluate installations, review and collect data and provide program management support to the Operational Range Assessment Program. Baltimore, Maryland Provide program management support to the Army Environmental Command for the Military Munitions program. Picatinny Arsenal, Picatinny, New Jersey Provide project management and public relations support to the installation for the Military Munitions program. In addition to the above sites, unforeseen conditions may require the Government to modify ongoing task orders at other locations. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 30 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
