- VA Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, California intends to negotiate a commercial FAR (Part 12) Sole source procurement with the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina located at 333 West Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-25. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This BOS announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued; a separate written solicitation will NOT be issued. Request for Quotation is RFQ VA-262-08-RQ-0273IM. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 721110 and the small business size standard is considered 6.5M. This procurement is for Hotel Rooms, Food & Beverage, Parking, Audio Visual Equipment and Meeting Rooms at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina at the San Diego Harbor for the new Summer Sports Clinic which includes a new pilot physical and recreational therapy clinic and is geared toward the recently injured combat veterans (OIF/OEF) including those with TBI, PTSD, amputees and wheelchair veterans. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government shall consider all proposals received by 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time June 09, 2008. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
