Description

Synopsis The Contractor shall supply all the labor, materials, supervision, equipment and transportation to replace the roof, gutters, down spouts, and the lower and upper facia (flat roof only) at Building 1044, BARC-East, Beltsville, Maryland, in accordance with the Statement of Work. All work is to be completed within 51 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for July 1, 2008, 10:00 a.m., meeting in front of Building 003 in Beltsville, Maryland. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This solicitation is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses only. This is a request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about June 23, 2008. If you are unable to download the solicitation, a written request may be submitted to the Contracting Officer requesting a hard copy. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the quotation considered most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors. Anticipated award date is July 30, 2008.
