Description
STATEMENT OF WORK Remodel North End of Building 220 XHZG200800589 1 May 2008 1.The contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to complete the work identified in the plans and specifications. All debris is to be disposed of off Base. 2.Refer to attached plan. 3.The contractor shall apply all safety procedures required by local, state and federal regulations. 4.All work to be performed 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday thru Thursday in accordance with the general conditions stated in the MATOC specifications. If alternate work schedule is desired it must be requested in writing and approved by CE and Security 48 hours prior to the desired schedule. 5.This project consists of work in the north 30x20 (approx.) bay of Building 220. 6.Demo entire ceiling. 7.Demo all existing partition walls (except two walls that conceal HVAC ducts in the northwest corner) including office doors. 8.Remove existing 3070 door that enters room 102. Replace with a 4070 door of the same specs as the removed door. See MATOC 08305. Reuse existing lockset. 9.Construct a metal stud partition as shown on drawing. Studs to be floor to roof. Cover with 5/8 drywall on both sides. Insulate this wall with 3 thick sound attenuating fiberglass insulation in accordance with MATOC 07210. The east side to be covered floor to roof. The west side to be covered to 8. Installation to be per MATOC 09255. Door in this partition to be per MATOC 08305. This partition to have three 4w x 3h fixed glass windows per MATOC 08520 located 4-0 above floor. 10.Install a wire mesh partition as shown on plan. This partition to be 10 high. This partition to be in accordance with MATOC 10605. 11.The existing metal walls on the south and west walls to receive metal furring strips at 16 o.c. and covered with 5/8 drywall and finished per MATOC 09255. 12.All walls of room 101 to be painted in accordance with MATOC 09900. 13.Room 101 to be carpeted per MATOC 09680. 4 base cove to be installed per MATOC 09678. 14.Room 101A floor to be coated with TuffRez epoxy floor coating by PolySpec. Apply in accordance with manufacturers recommendations. Color to be selected. 15.Install a suspended acoustical ceiling in room 101 in accordance with MATOC 09512. 16.Electrical work to consist of installation 4 x 2 fluorescent ceiling fixtures model 3XY96 (Grainger) of approved approved equal as shown in room 101. Install high efficiency shop lights in room 101A. Replace the thermostat with a 7 day digital programmable model and relocate it into the room 100 area using the same bulbs as office lights. The south and west walls of room 100 to have two quad com jacks (installed but not wired) and two quad electric outlets each. 17.HVAC work to consist of relocating supply and return ducts as needed to accommodate new room configuration. Entire 20x30 area to be heated and cooled. 18.Plumbing work to consist of re-piping existing water line to the outside of the wall. Replace faucet with a frostproof sillcock. 19.The contractor shall coordinate all work with a representative of the CE office. 20.The contractor will not be responsible for moving furniture. The movement and replacement of furniture shall be coordinated prior to beginning the work. 21.Prior to any work, the contractor shall submit three copies of literature for all products to be used. Include manufacturers installation/application instructions.
