Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1 each - XLt 898BW He Alloy Analyzer for Light Elements (Mg, Al, P, Si). 1 each - Alloy Analysis "G" XLt 898 x-ray tube. 1 each - Electronics Suite XLt 898 x-ray tube, bluetooth W and a welding mask 187-579. This requirement is sole sourced to Ling Electronics, 63356 Nels Anderson Rd., Ste. 2, Bend OR 97701, based on the fact that Niton XLt is the only hand held spectrometer to offer the versatility of four distinct detection modes to allow for the fastest and most accurate detection method for a specific application. Any system other than the Niton XLt will not provide accurate comparison data for flight worthiness tests and may put fleet personnel at risk if unacceptable motor tubes are put into fleet use. Any firms believing that they can provide the products may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the product without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Respond to Kirsten McVay by email as the preferred method, or mail your quote to: Commander Code 220000D, NAWCWD, 429 E Bowen Ave, MS 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108, or fax to (760) 939-3095.NAICS Code = 334516Place of Performance = N/ASet Aside = N/A
