- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) is seeking to procure on a sole source basis from Rockwell Collins, Inc., 3200 E. Renner Road, Richardson, TX 75082 an RF Synthesizer Module Model SYN-5800 and an RF Downconverter Module Model DCV-5800. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334511, $25 Million size standard. The order shall be firm fixed priced. FOB Origin shall apply. The closing date will be 9 June 2008 with an anticipated award date of 11 June 2008. This item will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS THE ITEM IS IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. The synopsis number is N00178-08-Q-1212 and is a Request for Quote. Electronic quote submission is encouraged to dlgr_nswc_xds11@navy.mil, but the quote may also be faxed to (540) 653-7088, Attention Code XDS114.Contracting Office Address: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110.
