- This is a Sources Sought announcement issued by the Regional Contracting Office-SW Region, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA for purposes of identifying Small Business interest and sources for repairing and servicing various types of vehicles, mobile equipment, construction type equipment, and performing emergency road service. These services shall be performed on site at the following locations: Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA, Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, CA, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, 29 Palms, CA, Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, CA, and Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811111 with a size standard of $6.5M. Request that all interested offerors provide a capability statement consisting of no more than 5 pages that detail their previous work in the areas of expertise stated in the draft Performance Work Statement attached. Work performed within the past three years is considered relevant experience for the sources sought announcement. This announcement is for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. A draft copy of the Performance Work Statement is attached. Maintenance capabilities include, but are not limited to: repair of gasoline, natural gas, diesel, and electric engines; removal and replacement of engine assemblies; removal and repair of transmission units; repair and adjust fuel and ignition systems; perform preventive maintenance checks on all types of equipment; troubleshoot, repair and overhaul major components such as differentials, transaxles, electronic fuel injections systems; run operational checks on components of these systems following instructions contained in technical manuals. All work shall be performed at Government motor pool facilities, other government facilities, and in the field as appropriate. Work may be performed at the contractors facility, if deemed appropriate by the government representative. The fleet of vehicles includes light/medium/heavy trucks, trailers, buses, hand and power mowers, construction, material/weight handling, and similar equipment.
