- This Market Survey DT-617A Detector Dewar Cooler Assembly (NSN: 5998-01-062-3126), DT-635 Detector-Dewar (NSN: 5855-01-351-2541), DT-591 Detector-Dewar (NSN: 5855-01-172-9992). This is not a solicitation. This is only an estimate and will not bind the contractor or the Government in any way or at any time into contract with any of the specified terms below. This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for the above stated Optically Improved (OI) and Non Optically improved Common Modules. These Common Modules are components of a First Generation Forward Looking Infrared system that provides thermal imaging capabilities for combat personnel. The Government intends to purchase these components using an Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery contract during 2QFY09 over a five year period IAW the following Government drawing numbers: 5004385, SM-D-805176 and A3172180. It is anticipated that the Government will procure up to an approximate quantity of 1800 each DT-635s, 200 each DT-591s and approximately 50 each DT-617 Detector Dewar Cooler Assemblies over the entire five year ordering period. It is crucial that any interested sources identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement, by responding to this survey. Interested sources must send the following information, NLT 24 Jun 2008, to C-E LCMC IEW-S Directorate: ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-TI (Lee Straube), Bldg. 1201, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The contractor must provide information to show that he possesses, or shall possess adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, testing etc) to enable him, or his subcontractors to produce the required components. Past Performance for these or similar items to be considered by the Government. The contractor shall submit part numbers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience, especially for the OI Common Modules. The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government of Industry) that shall be in place for this effort.
