- REQUIREMENT: The United States Government seeks to lease approximately 5,980 Rentable Square Feet (RSF) of office space to yield 5,200 Usable Square Feet (USF) of space for use by government personnel, furnishings and equipment. The site must be located outside the 100-year flood plain. Floor plates must have potential for efficient space layout. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The Government shall have access to the space 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The building must be near inexpensive and moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in restaurants that are within walking distance. Other employee services such as retail shops, cleaners, and banks shall be located within ¼ mile. The offered space must meet Government requirements for security, fire, life and seismic safety and handicapped accessibility. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located in suburban Chicago bounded by: North: Volmer Road, South: Sauk Trail, East: Kedzie Avenue, West: I-57. LEASE TERM: Ten (10) years, five (5) years firm. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: If you desire to submit a location for inspection, please forward information by 5:00 pm EDT, June 23, 2008. Expressions of interest should include building name and address, location of space in the building, rentable square feet offered and rentable rate per square foot (specifying services and utilities included), ANSI/BOMA defined usable square feet, and contact information for owner or authorized agent. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building's ownership.
