Description

This is a notice of intent to issue an order to X-Digital Systems, Inc., 9727 Pacific Heights Blvd, Suite 200, San Diego, CA 92121, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is for 12 Each Digital Satellite Receiver X-Digital Pro 4 SG for the ABC Radio Network feeds and 6 Each Digital Satellite Receiver X-Digital Pro 4 P for the Premier Radio Network feeds for use by the American Forces Network-Broadcast Center radio automation to receive programming from the ABC Radio Network feeds and the Premier Radio Network feeds to provide radio service to DoD personnel stationed overseas. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by the closing date specified in the notice. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. SEE ATTACHED SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION.
