- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3 for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in the FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation as quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement action is unrestricted and the solicitiation is being issued as Request for Quote (RFQ) Brand Name or Equal 52.211-6 and DIAR 52.210-70. The NAICS Code is 336211. This solicitation is identified as "Brand name or equal," the purchase description reflects the characteristics and level of quality that will satisfy the Government's needs. Seney National Wildlife Refuge, Seney, MI requires a: Monroe 3500-10 Underbody Scraper, Rexroth Hydraulic System with Rexroth MP18 valves; Fuel and Hydraulic Combination Reservior Riverside Tank Model TP603; Crysteel Model HD Dump Body and Hoist; Roll Rite Tarp System Model 6306; Lighting and Accessories to include front strobe, rear strobes and stop/tail/turn/ICC; Tow Hooks and Rear Pintle Hitch and a Flaming River FR1005 Battery Disconnect to be installed on a International 4x4 Cab/Chasis.Offeror(s) proposing alternative types/brand than those indicated bear the burden of proof that an item is in fact equal or better.
