Description
Note 26 applies. RFP is for the purchase of 45,000 each min/180,000 each AEQ/300,000 each max each of Jacket, Soft Shell (Mid-Weight), Cold Weather (ECWCS Generation III) Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Two 100% mandatory term options will be included for the same quantities as the base year cited above. National Stock Number is 8415-01-538-6808(s). Offers are to be based on FOB Destination to the New Cumberland, PA depot. Production Leadtime is 120 days after date of award for three deliveries. Purchase Description (PD) GL/PD-06-05 dated Dec 28, 2007 and Pattern Date June 19, 2007 are applicable. Copies of the PD can be obtained through http://www.dscp.dla.mil/Portal/sreqfrm.aspx. Request for proposal SPM1C1-08-R-0170 will only be available through DIBBS. A technical proposal with Product Demonstration Models (PDMs) and Past Performance will be required with your offer. An estimated, repeat estimated response date of July 31, 2008 is established for the closing of the RFP. RFP will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, therefore only small businesses may offer. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as “The Berry Amendment”) impose restrictions on the DoD’s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and “specialty metals” (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
