Description
The Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division (JMD), Finance Staff (FS) has a requirement for one (1) full-time business analyst/application developer to provide non-personal technical support services to document, recommend and perform an approach to the design, development, testing and implementation of various financial applications on PC, LAN and mainframe platforms that interface with the Financial Management Information System (FMIS) in the Teradata environment. The major part of the work to be performed consists of documentation, maintenance, user support, redesign and enhancement of the Debt Collection Module which includes the interface wit the Consolidated Debt Collection System (CDCS). The contractor will also be required to effect a timely completion of new and revised modles, including fixes to existing code, and implementation with system perofrmance meeting user expectations. The contractor may also provide new development and technical assistance for new FASSG iniatives that support the Bureau of Prisons (BOP), DOJ Offices Bureaus and Divisions (OBD's) and the U.S. Attorney's (USA's). Expertise in design and development of optimally effective programs across the various hardware and software environments is required. The support services will be performed on site within the Finance Staff offices located at 600 E Street NW, Washington, DC 20530. The subject matter expert (SME) must be able to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)clearance. The Government intends to award a Small Business Set-Aside (SBSA) contract for NAICS code 541511. The small business size standard for this classification is $23 million. The period of performance for this requirement will be a base period from the date of award through September 30, 2008 with four (4) one year options thereafter.
