Description

The Mississippi National Guard intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a single, firm fixed price contract to remove an existing 3-ton hoist on a bridge crane, and install a new one, with wire rope capable of reaching to the floor (approximately 75 feet), located at Building 102 Jackson IAP (ANG), Jackson, Mississippi. This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for this project. Award will be restricted to Emerging Small Businesses, and is being made pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (Ref: FAR 19(c)(2)). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990 and the Size Standard for Emerging Small Businesses is $6.5 million or less gross annual receipts over the last 3 fiscal years. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Davis-Bacon Wage Determination MS080020 is applicable to this requirement. There will be a pre-quote site visit at 10:00 a.m. CDT on Thursday, 10 July 2008, at the 172d Airlift Wing, 141 Military Drive, Building 303, Jackson, MS 39232. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend. Contractors must provide proof of vehicle registration, insurance, and valid drivers license to drive on the installation. All potential offerors are required to register in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). This solicitation is not a competitive bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening.
