Description

The VAMC Roseburg, OR intends to award a sole source contract to Seimens Medical Systems Inc, 186 Wood Avenue South, Iselin, NJ 08830, to perform Preventive Maintenance for the Aristos, FX for the VA Medical Center, 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd, Roseburg, OR 97470. The NAICS code for the service is 811219 "Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance" with a size standard of 6.5 Million. The Government believes that only Seimens Medical Systems Inc is the only approved Preventive Maintenance provider for the proprietary named equipment above. This is a sole source procurement utilizing, 38 U.S.C. 8153 and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes however; any firm that believes it can provide these services may give written notification to the Contracting Officer, VAMC Roseburg, 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd, Roseburg, OR 97470 no later than 2:00 PM PDT, June 12, 2008. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to the above listed address, Mike Fisher, Contracting Officer michael.fisher3@va.gov or faxed to (541) 440-1276. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VA will proceed with the sole source award to Seimens Medical Systems.
