Description

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. This project is set-aside for certified small business concerns. The estimated value of this procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) code is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipt of $13.0 million. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The solicitation in its entirety and any amendments will be available at no charge online at http://www.fbo.gov under the above solicitation number. This project is to provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to improve drainage around the Maritime Safety and Security Team (MSST) building and parking lot facilities at the U.S. Coast Guard MSST facility located on the Homestead Air Reserve Base in Homestead, Miami-Dade County, Florida. The work includes demolition and replacement of approximately 1,000 square yards of asphalt paving, installation of approximately 250 feet of concrete gutter, demolition and replacement of approximately 20 square yards of concrete sidewalk, installation of approximately 40 feet of drainage pipe, associated earthwork and site grading. The performance period is 60 calendar days. Bid opening date is July 29, 2008.
