Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies to perform earth moving and recontouring of land area between A-Line and E-Line within the Middle Grant Creek area of the Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie. Generally, the work consists of dispersing of soil piles and filling road ditches and other constructed drainages in the Middle Grant Creek area using existing constructed spoil piles, berms, or previously disturbed soils as the sources of fill to construct a more natural ground surface. No fill is to be brought in. Due to soft conditions, wide track equipment is recommended. The Phase II Middle Grant Creek Project Area is located south of Grant Creek, north of Schoolhouse Road, and between A-Line and E-Line on the Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie, Wilmington, IL. Contract performance period is 30 days. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Successful quoters are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database before award can be made. You may register at the CCR website at www.ccr.gov. This project will be solicited under NAICS code 238910. This is an unrestricted procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by the agency. This solicitation will be available on this website on or around June 24, 2008.
