Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to YSI Integrated Systems in Marion, MA for an autonomous underwater vehicle for environmental monitoring applications to be delivered to Urbana, IL by 07/28/2008. YSI Integrated Systems is the only known source for this requirement because the sole provider of the instrument that is specifically designed for water quality and bathymetry mapping that meets the US Geological Requirements. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: drainey@usgs.gov. The NAICS code is 334519. Than anticipated award date of the contract is June 16, 2008. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. See Numbered Note 1.
