This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for(1) each Signal Conditioner. The Specifications are: 1. 20 channels of signalconditioning for existing strain gage sensors and existing Kulite transducers 2. Singleamplifier per channel which can be removed and swapped with power up withoutdisconnecting any cables or connectors. 3. Selectable constant voltage and constantcurrent excitation available in all amplifiers with separate, isolated power supply foreach amplifier4. Provide front panel monitoring jacks for analog outputs, voltageexcitation, scaled current excitation where a 1 volt or 1 mV or 10 mV is equivalent to 1mA of excitation 5. Provide front panel display of voltage and current excitationstatus including which is selected and active 6. Front Panel continuously adjustablegain, calibrated for minimum range of 1 to 3000 7. Selectable AC or DC input coupling 8. +/- 10 V analog output with BNC connector 9. Built in, by passable, 4 pole Bessellow-pass filter with selectable cut-off frequencies of 1Hz, 10 Hz, 100 Hz, 1KHz and 10KHz using front panel control 10. Built-in bridge completion for quarter and half wave120, 350 and 1000 ohm bridges and transducer circuits 11. Built-in shunt calibrationcircuits with optically isolated relays and built-in power supplies 12. Guarded Input 13. +/- 325 V common mode operating voltage 14. Battery backup of any digital settings 15. 0 to 100 KHz bandwidth for all gain settings and excitation levels and modes within0 to -3.5 dB and 0 to 50 KHz bandwidth for all gain settings and excitation levels andmodes within 0 to -0.55 dB 16. Remote shunt calibration initiation activated by frontpanel or remote TTL compatible switch 17. Calibration resistors do not need soldering 18. Automatic balance circuit to provide +/- 30,000 uE(microstrain), and front paneldisplay of balance status and balance overload activated by front panel or remote TTLcompatible switch 19.Max Balance time 10 seconds 20. Able to operate in test cellenvironment of -10 to +50 degree C and up to 90% humidity 20.Output noise at allexcitation levels and modes without filters and gain 10 or less < 650 uV, noisewithout filters and gain 300 or less < 2.25 mV, with filters < 800 uV at all gains 21. Linearity +/- 0.01% or less of full scale at dc 22. Accuracy +/- 1% or less. 22. Input protected to max differential input voltage of +/- 50 Vdc or peak ac 23. GuardImpendence > 1000 MOhm to power and chassis ground 24.
