Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall be submitted electronically to Dorothy.Dailey @us.army.mil and are due by Wednesday, 18 June 2008 at 4:00 p.m. MDT. No phone calls will be accepted. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-24. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334511 with a small business standard of 750 employees. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside, and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. All quotes are due by Wednesday, 18 June 2008 at 4:00 p.m. MDT. Operation is inhibited while the V Lo message is displayed but normal operation will resume automatically when the input voltage is restored. All other speed windows will be blanked. RFI-the RFI message indicates the presence of an interfering signal. Operation is inhibited during an RFI indication. All other speed windows will be blanked. PASS-PASS is displayed at the end of a succesful internal test cycle along with a happy tone. FAIL-a FAIL message (along with full tone) indicates that a circuit malfunction has been detected in which case speed readings are inhibited and the unit should be removed from service and repaired. FAIL will remain in the message window until reset by being powered off. HOT-the HOT message is used to indicate that the counting unit I outside of its rated temperature range. After the counting unit cools down, it will automatically begin normal operation. Remote Control Functions: Consists of MOV/STA mode, START/STOP, OPP/FAST LOCK, HOLD/LOCK RELEASE, UP/DOWN, SAME/FAST LOCK, MENU, VOLUME/TEST, PS BLANK, and LIGHT., Delivery of items is within 15 days ARO for 30 units each. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24.
