- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Governmentintends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified AcquisitionProcedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for: Qty 1GE Analytical Instruments, Inc. Model 900 Total Organic Carbon Online Turboanalyzer with an inorganic carbon remover (ICR) or EQUAL:Specifications are as follows: Specification for TOC analyzer:TOC Analyzer - for monitoring TOC (total organic carbon) in reclaim waters and ultra-puredeionized water.1.Measurement range: 0.20 ppb to 10 ppm TOC2.Precision: 2% RSD (TOC < 5 ppm)3.Accuracy: +/- 2% or better (TOC < 5 ppm)4.Sample: On-line continuous 5.With Inorganic Carbon Remover (ICR) - reduces inorganic carbon levels in sample 6.Calibration stable for 12 months7.Analysis Time 4 seconds8.Response time (T90): faster than 210 seconds (TOC < 5 ppm)9.Sample Temperature 195 degree C 10.Sample Pressure Up to 250 psia11.Unaffected by drift due to ambient temperature changes or vibration.12.Instrument is able to automatically optimize all reagent flow rates with no userintervention for different samples.13.One year parts and labor warrantyThe provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 05-25. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery of the item shall be to the NASA Langley Research Center, 21 Langley Blvd,Hampton VA 23681-2199. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by June 26, 2008, COB, and may be emailedto Sandra.A.Brickner@nasa.gov or faxed to (216) 433-5489 and must include, solicitationnumber, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration, taxpayeridentification number (TIN), CAGE code, DUNS Number, identification of any specialcommercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (SEPT 2006), Instructionsto Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. Addenda to FAR 52.212-1are as follows: None. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in theclause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall listthe country of origin.
