- QUESTION The first one is on drawings 8642366, 8642309, 8642574, 8642624, and 8642416 there is a call out for nameplates per MIL-P-15024 Type N. In our research we found the Specification MIL-DTL-15024F and it only go to a Type L. ANSWER The correct name plate type per MIL-P-15024N (now MIL-DTL-15024F)specified on the drawings 8642366, 8642309, 8642574, 8642624, and 8642416 is TYPE H. The government is going to correct this typo and update these drawings. QUESTION Drawing number 8642383 Latch the suggested source have discontinue the item and there is no replacement for it which matches the hole pattern. Could you provide a replacement? ANSWER The government is aware that the latch sited on the drawing 8642383 is obsolete. The contractor shall find a suitable substitute which is form, fit, and function the same as the obsolete part number and submit an ECP in order to receive government's approval of the replacement part number. The ECP shall be submitted for the government's approval/disapproval prior to fabrication of FA units.
