- Item: REBUILT Diesel Engine in RECONDITIONED Container. NSN: 2815-01-438-1517. Military Part Number 57K3603 (Engine P/N 11669835 in Container P/N 12389942). Long-term (5-year) contract is planned: Guaranteed Minimum Quantity 45 Each; Estimated Maximum Quantity 1,125 Each. FOB: Origin. Although technical data is available for purchase of new material, this procurement involves service-on-hardware using the Government technical manual to rebuild engines using unserviceable Big Cam III model engine core. FAR Part 12 will be NOT be used for this procurement due to the requirement for use of some cost based line items. The solicitation will be released to the TACOM Warren Procurement Network website on or about 27 Jun 08; the offer due date will be on or about 28 Jul 08 (see solicitation for actual offer due date). All responsible sources may submit offers, which will be considered.
