Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement for 24 new Crossed Field Amplifiers (CFAs) used in the AN/SPY-1D(V) Rader System in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 53711-6155764, WS-33154 and the Statement of Work. This solicitation will be issued utilizing other than full and open competition procedures under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract. Offers will be solicited from L-3 Communications Corp., 1035 Westminster Drive, Williamsport, PA 17701 and CPI, 150 Shier Road, Beverly, MA 01915. Non-commercial, firm fixed price contracts are anticipated to result. Delivery will be FOB Destination at NSWC Crane, 7 months after award. Inspection and acceptance with be at destination. RFP will be available for download at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm on or about 27 June 2008. Closing date will be on or about 28 July 2008. All offers must be in the English language and must be in U.S. dollars. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards from the DOD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) in Philadelphia, PA. It is the responsibility of Offerors to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane to be considered.
