- The National Park Service, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, has identified a requirement to solicit building and installation of a portable covered walkway at the Kings Canyon Visitors Center. This solicitation is set aside for certified HUBZone contractors only. The project consists of all necessary site work at the visitors center and all work related to the construction of the modular seasonal / temporary covered walkway at a lump sum price. The covered walkway is to be custom constructed off-site and placed on prepared foundation. The National Park Service encourages and welcomes the participation of all HUBZone small business firms, minority-owned business firms, and women-owned business concerns. The solicitation, Q8564080045, will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) website, http://ideasec.nbc.gov, approximately 15 days after this announcement. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the above web site for all information relevant to this solicitation. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the Central Contractors Register (CCR) on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Submission date for offers will be approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 236220 with a size standard for Small Business of $31.0 million. The magnitude will be between $100,000 and $250,000.
