- This is a sole source announcement. No "hard copy" Request for Quotation(RFQ) will be prepared or made available for distribution. Space and NavalWarfare Systems Center, San Diego (SPAWAR San Diego) intends to award afirm-fixed price contract to Ocean Imaging. This is a combinedsynopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with theformat in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information includedin this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposalsare being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Thesolicitationnumber is N66001-08-Q-1080. This solicitation is issued as a request forquotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions andclauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26.Awardwill be in accordance with FAR Part 13, Direct procurement questions via e-mailto: janet.barbot@navy.mil. Note 22 applies however all responses to this solesource announcement must be received by 1600 PDT on 17 Jun 2008. TheNAICS Code is 541690. The size standard is $6.5 million. A list of contractline item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure is provided inthe attached RFQ. Description of requirements for the items to be acquired isprovided in the attached RFQ. Dates and places of delivery, acceptance, andFOB point are provided in the attached RFQ. The provision at FAR 52.212-1,Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition.. Theclauseat FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.Offerors will be evaluated based on the information stated in the attached RFQ.Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3,Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with itsoffer.The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Itemsapplies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms andConditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- CommercialItems, applies to this acquisition.
