Description
Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Asphalt Patching, Roads 81, 83, and 54. The Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Washington, intends to acquire by contract road asphalt surface maintenance. Ordered tasks will be for the Mt. Adams Ranger District and the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. The government will proceed to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) Solicitation under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 for commercial services (minor construction). This procurement is setaside for 100% Huzone Small Business Concerns. Offerors will be evaluated on: price; experience; past performance; key personnel and subcontractors; proposed equipment; price realism; and Level of Confidence Assessment Rating (LOCAR). Contract award will be to the offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the government. This solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract. The contract performance period is from August 01, 2008, to September 15, 2008. The minimum ordered amount is $75,000.00 and the maximum ordered amount $175,000.00. The Forest Service intends to award one contract. Davis Bacon Act wage rates apply to any contract resulting from this solicitation. This solicitation will be available on, or about, JUN 23, 2008. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 237310 and the annual size standard is $31,000,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
