Description

The U.S. Department of State (DoS), Office of Acquisition Management intends to issue a sole source award to Mountain State Computers for Forensic Analysis Recovery Towers. The Forensic Analysis Recovery Towers are a product of Mountain State Computers and Mountain State Computers is the only manufacturer of this equipment. The DoS utilizes these specialized computers to conduct business in the Criminal Investigation Office of the DoS. These computers have been forensically validated, and allow for the continued use of the existing drive clone of the operating system and forensic tools. Total estimated value of this Purchase Order will be $69,500.00. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). The regulatory authority is FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement is for informational purposes only.
