Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision in connection with exterior and interior window cleaning, located on the U. S. Coast Guard Academy, 15 Mohegan Ave., New London CT. 06320. Contract Period of Performance. The contract period of performance is between July 14, 2008 and August 15, 2008. Exterior and interior window cleaning shall not affect personnel living or dining on the Academy. The Coast Guard Academy is an educational institution requiring students to remain on the premise at all times. This Educational Institution houses cadets and civilian employees’ year- round. However, services performed shall not be scheduled to conflict with the normal daily operations of the facility involved without approval of the Contracting Officers Technical Representative (COTR). Therefore, this requirement stems from various federal environmental, safety and health regulations that require educational institutes to be maintained in a manner that ensures the safety and health of its facility, staff, student and members of the general public.
